Fluid Halloween Cabaret | What Scares You
Cabaret appearances from the creepy and wonderful minds of creatives that inspire us. We invite artists to share what scares them, in an upside-down world of stranger things. But all hail this brilliance for creating moments that ooze horror and hijinks. Perhaps leave the lights on when you leave.
Artists' Line Up:
My Home is You | Artis Theatre
What scares us?
When you lose the sense of security, the feeling of home; when the scent of your home is taken away from you. That’s what scares us the most. Our performance is about how we fight this fear and try to keep living our lives.
Right Hand Woman | Jocelyn Mah
Welcome to Jocelyn's Serious Contemporary Dance Solo! In this work, the artist aims to express her disdain for the patriarchy through durational, arm-wiggling movements. It's Halloween night; it's Jocelyn's first day of her period; the American Election looms ... nothing could go wrong, right?

And More...
My Own SenSe | Zaria Rajha
A solo performance explores the tension between fear and courage, focusing on the internal conflicts that arise from vulnerability, authority, and mortality with a strong improvisational element that allows the performance to adapt to the current moment, reflecting immediate emotions and the courage to face inner conflicts as they arise.
The work is both playful and dark, a raw exploration of self and the fragile balance between living boldly and fearing what comes next

Deaf, Not Dead | Ebony R. Gooden
"Deaf, Not Dead" is an intimate, one-person show that explores the deep fears and frustrations of a Deaf woman grappling with feeling unseen unless she uses her voice. As she confronts the uncertainties of aging and the possibility of losing her ability to communicate, she navigates the profound fear of isolation with quiet strength and unwavering resilience.
Metamorphosize | Nyx Orr
What does it mean to transform? To become something new, something different than before? Creatures and insects and monsters do it all the time. Shifting and breaking and forming new shapes. Snapping skeletons, growing limbs. Could a human do it too? What would they have to give up to complete the transformation? What would they become? Is it worth it?
