Young Muslim artists in Calgary are picking up brushes, instruments, cameras, writing scripts, and creating their own art scene. Join Kawalease Act, Calgary Arab Arts and Culture Society, the Western Muslim Initiative and the Nigerian Muslim Association for Eid al-Adha celebrations with dance, music, food, art, and community activities in celebration of Calgary’s rich Muslim arts and culture community.
Showcasing Muslim artists with contemporary sensibilities while featuring individual creation, expression and identity. Amplifying the creative voices of artists and community members and providing a platform for both established and emerging talents for families and all Calgarians to enjoy.
