Feature Artist

House Atomics

Calgary and carbon-based, The House Atomics draw inspiration from cinema, history, romance, and other stuff like theoretical ichthyology, and fuse it into… music. Drawing on pop, punk, rock, and sometimes a shot of country, they nevertheless reject all labels except for 100% cotton (universally appreciated for its breathability.) Formed in late 2015 when a passing meteor disrupted a peaceful astronomy picnic, leaving a trail of sweet melodies and distorted guitars in its wake (and ruining Edna’s famous potato salad) The House Atomics abandoned their telescopes and bent their collective decades of musical chops towards crafting original tunes to create sonic waves to warn passing asteroids that we no longer have dinosaurs here. None. None at all. (Warning: if you have a dinosaur, don’t tell the asteroids, as our new songs have not been tested against actual asteroids.) Luke Willock: vocals, bass Steve Schroeder: drums, vocals, guitar Andrew Long: vocals, guitar Dan Willock: vocals, guitar, drums
