Tone Indbryn

Album: Songs from the Red Phone,  Band: The Precious Bohemians Tone Indbryn, Aleksandra Danicic, Brian Sovereign and Phil Krawczuk have teamed up together to create an unorthodox sound, “The Precious Bohemians.” Tone Indbryn is a singer songwriter/poet from BC has been working her craft for the past 20 years. Her music writing crosses many sub genres within the folk scene, a frank lyricist and individual. Tone is true to her songs and her craft. Melodies carry thought provoking words that leave the listener thinking. She has used music to write her way through, Single parenthood, poverty, loss and life's ever turning tides transforming every situation around for herself with her talent. She has been featured with many artists some of whom are: RC Weslowski, Tamara Nile, Ana Bon Bon, Carol Wiedemann, Craig McCaul. She has performed in slams, fundraisers, radio, festivals as well as being a part of an award winning movie soundtrack. She has two publications with The Poetry Institute of Canada and has written for BC Musician Magazine. She has been collaborating with Phil Krawczuk, a very talented and creative producer, composer and musician who has toured with many industry greats including Juno award winner Eddie Eastman Bill Durst and currently is the drummer for Ralph Boyd Johnson.  Phil has keyed into the essence of what Tone is about and together they have created an album of music that is both captivating and unique “Songs from the Red Phone”. Tone and Phil moved to Calgary three years ago and have been very excited to work alongside other artists with like minded creative aspirations. Tone met Aleksandra Danicic a dazzling violinist at a music night in Calgary and instantly a deep musical connection was made. The talented and creative Brian Soveriegn also the base player for Ralph Boyd Johnson provides the grounding base lines for these two unique ladies to stand on and explore an open and expressive style. Tone and Phil have been recording diligently on the extensive catalogue of material, and have one album completed under their belt “Songs from the Red Phone”. This winter they are planning to finish another album with the whole group involved a piece that covers historical cultural songs as well as new and original an upcoming creative adventure by The Precious Bohemians.
